Does voice search affect Kitchen View's cooking commands?

No — the two are completely separate. Kitchen View owns its own microphone for cook-mode commands like "next step", "show ingredients", "scroll down", "close ingredients" and timer phrases — those work exactly as before. The site-wide voice overlay automatically stands down the moment you enter a Kitchen View (`/k/…`) page, and the admin kill switch on the site-wide feature doesn't touch cook-mode voice either.
