Adding recipes

How do I import my recipes from Notion?

Answer

1. Open your recipe database page in Notion and click ⋯ (top right) → Export. 2. Choose Export format: Markdown & CSV and switch on Include subpages, so the ingredients and method inside each recipe page come too. 3. Click Export and keep the .zip that downloads. If Notion emails you a link, download the .zip from there. Then on RecipeFiler tap Import → Upload a file, drop the file as it is (up to 500MB, no unzipping), check the preview and tap Save. Upload the .zip as it is; zips inside zips are fine. Database columns such as Tags and URL become categories and source links; each page's 'Ingredients' and 'Method' headings are read automatically.
