How does the Leftovers tag work?
Answer
When you drop a recipe (or a freeform meal) into a slot, tick This is leftovers in the slot editor and add an optional note like "from Sunday's roast". Leftover slots show a little re-heat icon in the grid so you can see at a glance which nights don't need cooking — and, crucially, their ingredients are skipped when syncing to the shopping list so you don't buy the ingredients again for the same meal. Handy for planning a Wednesday leftover lunch from Monday's dinner.
