Adding recipes

How do I import my recipes from Obsidian / OneNote / Markdown?

Answer

1. Obsidian: your notes are already .md files. Zip your recipes folder (right-click → Compress) or pick a single .md file. 2. OneNote: open the recipe page, then File → Export (or copy the text into a .txt file). A Word or PDF export isn't readable, so use text. 3. Make sure each recipe has a title and 'Ingredients' and 'Method' headings (# headings are fine). Then on RecipeFiler tap Import → Upload a file, drop the file as it is (up to 500MB, no unzipping), check the preview and tap Save. One recipe per note works best; images linked inside a zipped note come across. Open the full step-by-step Obsidian / OneNote / Markdown guide
