How to import from Whisk / Samsung Food
- 1Log in to Samsung Food (samsungfood.com) or Whisk.
- 2Account → Settings → Export My Data.
- 3Download the CSV or JSON archive.
- 4Final step: Come back to this page and click "Upload your file" on the right (or below on mobile). Pick the file you just exported and we'll parse every recipe automatically.

Is the import free?
Yes. Importing recipes is always free — even for anonymous visitors. You only need an account to save what you import to your permanent cookbook shelf.
Will my Whisk / Samsung Food photos come with me?
Yes. Where photos are embedded (Paprika, Mela, Recipe Keeper, Cookmate, Evernote) we extract them from the file. Where they're linked via URL, we fetch and rehost them to our own storage so they never break — even if the source site goes down.
How does deduplication work?
Every import compares title + first ingredient against your existing recipes in the target cookbook. Exact matches are skipped. We show you the skip count when the import finishes so you can spot anything unexpected.
How big an import can I do?
