Crohn's-friendly diet
OtherAlso known as: IBD diet · low-residue diet
A broad term for eating strategies that minimise gut irritation for people living with Crohn's disease, typically emphasising low-fibre, easily digestible foods during flare-ups and a wider, nutrient-rich diet in remission. Cooked and puréed vegetables, refined grains, and lean proteins are generally better tolerated than raw produce or high-fat dishes. A registered dietitian should always guide individual needs.
