Historical recipes
Are the historical recipes really from the original books?
Answer
Each entry is a faithful adaptation of a recipe from a real, verifiable public-domain cookbook — modernised so it works in a modern kitchen (metric units, temperatures in °C, familiar equipment). The provenance details on every card (book, author, year) match a real source. Recipes flagged 'Verified from original source' have been cross-checked against the original text by a RecipeFiler admin.
