Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Line a small baking tray (about 20 × 15 cm) with baking parchment.

In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana thoroughly with a fork until smooth.

Stir in the rolled oats and ground cinnamon (if using) until the mixture is thick and sticky.
