  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 5 pieces garlic cloves — minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • salt — to taste

  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard — optional

Instructions

Step by step

  1. 1

Season the filet mignon with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3– per side (or until desired doneness). Add butter and garlic during the last minute, basting the steaks. Remove and let rest.

  3. 3

In the same pan, cook the shrimp for 1– per side until pink. Remove.

  4. 4

For the sauce, melt butter, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 2–.

  5. 5

Add Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. 6

Place the filet on a serving plate, spoon the creamy sauce over the steak, top with the shrimp, and garnish with parsley and rosemary.
