200 g Rolled oats
150 g Plain flour
120 g Soft light brown sugar
150 g Dairy-free spread (melted)
0.5 tsp Ground cinnamon
350 g Mixed berries (fresh or frozen) — blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
50 g Caster sugar
1 tbsp Cornflour
1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions
Step by step

Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Grease and line a 20 cm square baking tin.

In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, plain flour, light brown sugar and ground cinnamon.

Pour in the melted dairy-free spread and stir until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Press two-thirds of the oat mixture firmly into the base of the prepared tin.

In a separate bowl, toss the mixed berries with caster sugar, cornflour and lemon juice. Spread the berry mixture evenly over the oat base.

Scatter the remaining oat mixture over the berries in an even layer.

Bake for 35– until the top is golden and the berry filling is bubbling at the edges.

Allow to cool in the tin for at least before cutting into squares. Serve warm or cold.
