  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 Tsp Worcester Sauce — (or Marmite)

Instructions

Step by step

    Heat the oil in a pan and fry the very thinly sliced onion over a high heat.

    Cook uncovered for 1- then lower the temperature and cover and cook for . The onions should then be wonderfully soft.

    Add the flour and stir in for 30 seconds incorporated, then slowly add in the stock mixing quickly to avoid lumps.

    Bring to boiling point then add the other ingredients and stir in.
