2 tsp agar flakes — or 1 tsp agar powder
50 g caster sugar — or to taste
150 g fresh blackberries — rinsed

Pour the apple juice into a small saucepan and sprinkle over the agar flakes (or powder). Let stand for .

Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently, until the agar has completely dissolved (about ).
